We are a local, family owned and operated cut flower farm located in Homosassa, Florida. We seed start, plant and harvest every flower by hand.. all while chasing around two crazy, beautiful kiddos.
Who doesn't love fresh flowers? We think they're even more lovable when you know where they come from and how they're grown. When you bring home a bouquet of our flowers you can smile... not just because they are beautiful, but also in knowing they are grown organically right here in your hometown.
LOCAL.
Did you know that almost 80% of the flowers sold in the US are actually not grown in America? Imported flowers are pumped full of preservatives, shipped thousands of miles overseas and are likely a week or even older by the time they reach you. Our flowers are grown right here, locally. Often times harvested in the morning and on your kitchen table by the evening. This means a much smaller carbon footprint and flowers that stay looking pretty in your home for much longer.
SUSTAINABLE.
Along with a smaller carbon footprint, we also practice organic farming methods. That means no yucky pesticides or synthetic fertilizers on our farm. A safe haven for beneficial insects and our children to run around in.
UNIQUE.
Because they haven't been bred to withstand the long shipping journeys and mass production that imported flowers must endure...farm fresh flowers have unique colors, textures and smell that you can't find anywhere else. Perfect if you love that whimsical, just picked from the garden feel.
